突如「D40」なる機体がリーク（フライング?）されました。
この↓記事をはじめ、以前よりシェイプアップしたエントリー機が年内に発表されるという噂はありましたが、「D50」から数字を下げて「D40」とは予想外です。

判明しているスペックを見るに、AF-Sレンズのみサポートですからマニュアル・フォーカスは諦めた方がいいみたいです。
また写真からはコマンドダイヤルが背面に一つだけしか見えませんので、露出もマニュアルは厳しいかも知れませんね。
ここまで割り切るんなら、プロネアS[Nikon-Imaging] っぽいデザインが良かったかもねえ。
まだまだ不確定ですので名前をはじめとして各情報も鵜呑みには出来ませんが、実売価格次第ではカバンに放り込んで持ち歩くのには丁度良いかも。
という事で、私の希望としては40,000～45,000円で！
